1) 🧤⚽️ Vote for El Brujo and Blake

It’s Election season in MLS. Jose Martinez is up for Goal of the Year and Andre Blake is up for Save of the Year.

El Brujo’s goal was his first career goal for the Union, a rocketed shot from distance against Orlando City.

Blake’s save was one that’s still hard to believe. Christian Benteke had two cracks at the goal but was denied by the brick wall in the Union’s road victory in Washington DC in August.

Interestingly enough and not all that surprising, neither Blake or Martinez made the graphic for the two votes.

Subaru Park was full on Saturday night as it has been all season and the River End was rocking but there was one empty seat that hung heavy on the hearts of supporters. It was the seat of Dan Gorman, a season ticket holder and Sons of Ben member from the team’s beginning.

Gorman died last month from injuries sustained in an electric bike accident on a trail in Colorado. He worked in the film industry as a location scout and always had his camera with him to document games from the River End.

4) 💧 Water Cooler: Columbus or Atlanta
